When my 13-year-old Lab, Bella, lost all use of her hind legs after a freak accident, our vet gently suggested it might be time to put her down due to her “quality of life.” I was devastated and desperate to find another way. Dr. Nicolle is an amazing chiropractor!! She is so passionate about both chiropractic and her patients. She is very thorough with her exams and I always feel whole and complete after an adjustment. I also am very thankful for her advice on nutrition! She had some great tips for natural supplementation.
Not only does Dr. Nicolle adjust me, but she also treats my German Shepherd, Atticus. Atticus was favoring one leg after playing with some of his friends and after 1 adjustment, he was barely limping! She did a follow-up adjustment with him and it was completely resolved. Atticus is in top physical performance because of his adjustments with Dr. Nicolle!
I’m currently a chiropractic student at Palmer, FL and Dr. Nicolle let me shadow her adjusting her equine patients. It was AMAZING to watch! As an equestrian myself, if I had any horses in the area, I would use her as my equine chiropractor. She treated every horse as if they were her own and helped build the rider-horse relationship even deeper. I know treating both the rider and horse significantly improves the biomechanics individually, as well as for the team together. I hope to one day treat the horse and rider as a team like Dr. Nicolle does!

I adopted Macho, approximately 7-year old Long Haired Chihuahua, from Halifax Humane Society after agreeing to sign agreement to take him for thorough exam by my vet And understanding he most likely would need surgery or lifetime meds for his luxating patella in both knees. Once I had him home a few days, I realized he seemed to also have pain in his hips and chest. He’d tense up in his chest when I picked him up to carry him up and down the stairs. I began giving him cosequin joint supplement chews and Rimadyl 2-4 x’s per day.
About 6-months ago, when he couldn’t get up from his bed to go outside in the morning, I would gently pick him up to carry him but he began loudly crying out in pain then made horrible howling sounds. I put him on Previcox then Tramadol which did very little if anything to stop these painful episodes. I couldn’t bear it any longer thinking I would have to put him down to get him out of his misery.
My friend saw an article in the Port Orange Hometowne News about how Chiropractor Dr Nicolle Schultze uses chiropractic adjustments to help horses and suggested I call and make an appointment for Macho.
After Macho’s first treatment, I could tell a big difference as he was more flexible as I picked him up instead of being tense and rigid. He began using both hind legs rather than hopping. He began playing again with his 1-year old sister Chihuahua. He has been for 5-6 adjustments now for maintenance and he hasn’t had Rimadyl in a couple weeks now. I’m still giving cosaquin chews every other day. He is as happy and playful as he can be. He loves his walks and uses his doggie stairs to get up and down on the couch and bed. I cannot thank Dr Nicolle enough for using her expertise in resolving Macho’s pain.
